Terms & Conditions

Your driving instructor will ask you to sign a copy of the Terms & Conditions form. By signing it, you confirm that you understand and agree to the terms for taking driving lessons with Alwari Driving School.

  • All Alwari Driving School instructors operate as independent franchisees.
  • Payments made directly to an instructor are the responsibility of that instructor, not Alwari Driving School Limited.
  • Lesson payments should be made before each driving lesson.
  • Lesson prices may change for new bookings with reasonable notice.
  • Practical driving test fees are paid directly to the DVSA. The use of the instructor’s car for the test is charged separately.

 

Driving Licence Requirements

  • Pupils must hold a valid provisional or full driving licence suitable for tuition.
  • Pupils must be at least 17 years old.
  • Any endorsements or changes to the licence must be reported to the instructor.
  • Pupils must meet the DVSA eyesight requirements before driving.

 

Lesson Cancellations

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a lesson.
  • If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full lesson fee may be charged.
  • If a lesson cannot be completed due to circumstances outside the instructor’s control, the remaining time will be added to a future lesson.

 

Legal Liability

 

  • The instructor may take control of the vehicle whenever necessary for safety.
  • The instructor will teach according to DVSA standards but cannot be held responsible for mistakes made by the pupil outside lessons.
  • Driving tests must be booked with the agreement of both the instructor and the pupil.
  • Lessons may be refused if the pupil appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • The instructor accepts no liability for accidents or damage caused by the pupil’s negligence.

 

Privacy

  • Personal information is handled according to the school’s Privacy Policy.
  • With the pupil’s permission, the instructor may take photos or videos after a driving test and request a review via SMS, email, or review platforms such as Trustpilot.

 

Final Terms

  • The instructor may refuse the use of their vehicle for a driving test.
  • These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
  • Alwari Driving School Limited may update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
